We are thrilled to share the incredible experience our athletes had in Elche, Spain, during the SAGE Anti-Doping Training Course held from December 6th to 9th, 2023. This enlightening event, part of the Sound Athletes Grow Sound Societies (SAGE) project, marked a significant step in promoting clean sport and the holistic development of athletes.
Seminar Overview and Objectives
The SAGE project aims to foster education on clean sport and encourage the holistic development of athletes. The Elche seminar served as a pivotal platform for comprehensive training on anti-doping measures, the importance of clean sport, and the ethical role of athletes in society. The primary goal was to equip participants with a robust understanding of fair play principles and the skills necessary to uphold them.
Key Activities and Engagement
Throughout the seminar, participants engaged in a series of interactive sessions, workshops, and discussions. The agenda, meticulously crafted by the host organization, ensured a smooth flow of activities and covered essential themes such as ethical sporting practices, anti-doping protocols, and the promotion of healthy lifestyles.
